-- Muy bueno, me gusta el ángulo y la sangre ya que ésta parece real, viscosa y carmesí y no como esas otras sangres de tempera que vemos en otras fotos.
Ahora decime que usaste y mas vale que no sea tempera... This is so remnant of the sadness, and yet the stark beauty this series portrayed. I read it as metaphoric rather than literal. The image emphasizes a love for beauty (the rose), and a discontent for life, and the daily interactions thereof (the blood, the pose).
The subtle gray and the composition gives me a look to what I will now term Beautifully shadowed..
Firstly, I thought it's a photo. But then I realized it's a photomanipulation.
About the work - I like it very much.
From the hair details to the pale colors. The blood is well painted, the color is right.
The only things that look a bit displaced are the rose and the butterfly.
The rose, because her hand is open, so the rose doesn't actually stand like that, as well as the butterfly, both should have had a bit of motion in the.
But overall, is a good image. The concept is very well represented, as well as the emotions.
Good job!
